Would you like to present your research at the 8^th Annual Food Safety Research Forum?

Here's how:

The Forum will be held on May 6, 2010 at the Delta Guelph Hotel, 50 Stone Road West, N1G 0A9

Submissions:

• Poster abstract with a maximum of 200 words should be e-mailed to Moustapha Oke at the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) (1-888-466-2372 ex. 63355)
   
• Deadline: April 9, 2010

Content:

• Posters should address current issues in food safety including pathogen detection methodology, risk assessment and risk management and control.
   

 Guidelines:

• Poster should be brief, well organized and easy to read from 4 to 6 feet away
• 3’X4’ (90 X 120 cm) poster panels will be available
   

 Set up and Removal:

• Set up - May 06 : 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.
• Display - 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Removal - After 4 p.m.
   

 Notification:

A Review Committee will select posters for display. You will be notified of the results by e-mail by March 31, 2010.
 

Prizes for the best submission from a student

There will be prizes for the best student posters:

• 1^st place - $250
• 2^nd place - $150
• 3^rd place - $100
